She was so knowledgeable and generous with her time in the lead up to the birth, helping me put together a birth plan I was confident in and building mine and my partner’s confidence for the birth. During my labour at home, she helped keep me positive, manage my contractions through positions and breathing techniques to ensure I could stay at home as long as possible. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and worked with me on lots of different techniques to ensure I was comfortable as can be. During the birth, she was there every step of the way - keeping my energy up. Not only did she ensure I felt supported through the physical and emotional process of labour but also all the decisions that often need to be made on the day that can feel overwhelming. I know that I would not have had such a positive birth experience without her.”
