My Back-Up Network: Sydney Doula Tribe
I work within a small close-knit team of experienced doulas who support families together. When you hire me as your primary doula, you also benefit from the shared wisdom, continuity, and reassurance of our entire team.
On the rare occasion that you need in-person support while I’m attending another birth (or if any other unforseeable circumstance arises eg illness), I can call on one of these trusted doulas to be by your side. The more well supported I am, the more my clients are too (so a huge benefit to you!).
All of my clients benefit from this shared foundation. You can feel confident knowing we take a physiology-first approach to birth — supporting the body so labour can unfold naturally and spontaneously — alongside a consistent style of care and experience in techniques such as OMP and acupressure. All my back-ups will unconditionally support your preferences and decisions around your labour and birth.
Most importantly, we have deep trust in one another, so whoever is with you will show up fully, with skill, care, and commitment.
Three doulas, one shared commitment to you.

“We are so thankful to have had Amanda and Sasha as part of our birth experience, and are beyond grateful for their expertise, compassion, and professionalism. From initial consultations, reviewing birth plans, prescribing optimal positioning techniques, and championing our voices and decisions, we could not have asked for a better outcome.
Whilst our main Doula was unfortunately unwell during labour, we felt completely at ease and confident with her backup, who transitioned seamlessly and only enhanced our birth experience.
We highly recommend Sydney Doula Tribe to any pregnant mums looking to own their birth stories, through these outstanding Doulas, and are thankful for the continuity in care.”
“Amanda played a significant role in our journey to welcome our first child. She was an exceptional source of knowledge and reassurance — helping us understand the complexities of pain management, targeted exercises such as OMP, and how to navigate the public hospital system with confidence. Her balanced, evidence-based approach presented both anecdotal insights and research-backed information without bias, leaving us feeling informed and empowered throughout.
When the time came, Amanda was unable to attend our labour, but she remained reachable and coordinated seamlessly with Sasha to ensure we were in the best possible hands.
Sasha was an outstanding support during delivery. She integrated herself into the situation with such calm intuition — offering physical and emotional support throughout, creating a nurturing atmosphere, and knowing instinctively when to offer guidance and when to give us space to reflect and decide for ourselves. Despite our plans for a physiological birth, we ultimately faced an emergency caesarean after thirty hours of labour. Sasha’s presence and counsel during those moments were truly invaluable, and we are certain we could not have navigated it without her.
They say it takes a village to raise a child — and for us, that village began at pregnancy and delivery. The Sydney Doula Tribe were exactly that, and for that we will always be grateful.”
